this is the first really wierd Bruford beat I had heard. I liked his Yes stuff but a bass player friend of mine had Feels Good to me, an actual record, and played this for me. It's like five Percent for Nothing but wierder. the second set of two 16ths on the HH is sort of "hidden" at first glance.

Plus, it's got rotos. There's a full transcription in the Bruford book which is actually a substantial book, I guess it would be.

This is a tune from a 70's fusion group, not really fusion but more prog I guess because Percy Jones is on it...Narada Michael Walden plays on it, with lots of energy and a snare that sounds like it's got both heads as loose as possible.

This next one is a live cut from Jeff Beck's 99 tour with Steve Alexander on drums. He seems to rush a lot, but I like his playing.

This tune is classic Bozzio. If you don't have Jeff Beck's Guitar Shop, get it, it's a great disc.

And the last one for today is Steve Jordan playing with the Blues Brothers live at Winterland a long time ago.
